Primer for Grenade British These are a rare find. These are the actual hollow primers used in igniter sets for the Grenade series British used from the first world war up to recently probably the 90s but would have to check that . used in the No 5 ,23,36, ,77,80 ++ just to mention a few
These came from an Ammunition factory that used to sub contract to the RO Factories. They were sealed with a cover card /disc and shellacked hence the brown colour on the finished article
